No, childcare is complimentary on early dismissal school days for students enrolled in Zhang Sah afterschool programs at our community based locations. School based Zhang Sah locations do not have after school programming on half days.
During most school closures, Zhang Sah community based locations are open and available at the Full Day Rate. Please refer to the Zhang Sah program year calendar to see all available dates.
Zhang Sah school pick up is provided by van or walking escort at no additional cost. Please contact us to find out if your child’s school is on our pick up list.
Yes! Martial arts training is a core part of the afterschool, Pre-K, and camp programs at Zhang Sah.
Our wait lists for the programs we offer are constantly changing and are based on the ages of the children in the program. Please contact us to join a waitlist for any program you don’t see available on our Sign Up page.
Family engagement is important to us at Zhang Sah. We encourage family and sibling involvement and participation. Our weekly newsletter informs families and students about upcoming events, opportunities to chaperone field trips, culminating events & belt test ceremonies. Our martial arts belt ceremonies are very special events that our students take great pride in and they are a great opportunity for families to celebrate their child’s achievement. We also offer a low monthly tuition rate to parents/guardians who are interested in taking adult martial arts lessons.
Yes! There is temporary parking adjacent to our learning centers.
Yes! We offer complimentary lunch as well as morning snacks for our full day programs (Pre-K and Camps). We also provide after-school snacks for all children. Please alert us of any dietary restrictions.
All tuition fees are based on enrollment and not on attendance. Given this, we do not permit refunds for days or weeks missed; however, we will allow you to make up a missed class or session on a later date, within one month.
Yes! We offer a 25% discount for the first sibling and a 35% discount for every additional sibling.
Yes! If you sign up for summer camp before April 30th and you pay in full, we offer a 5% discount.
Zhang Sah is proud to offer a family affordability program for families that meet the 235-400% Federal Poverty Guidelines level requirement. Please contact us to apply.
Yes! We have participated with CCIS for over 15 years and we see them as a valued partner in ensuring high quality Out-Of-School (OST) education.
We offer on-location birthday parties for up to 15 children (ages 4+). Ask us about our exciting martial arts-themed birthday party packages!
Children are defined as eligible to participate in PHLpreK if they: 1) are three or four years old on or before September 1 of the enrollment year and younger than the entry age for kindergarten in the school district; and 2) reside in the City of Philadelphia.
